Our Workers
We believe in giving skilled, qualified people the freedom to take opportunities that they may not otherwise have considered or been able to pursue. The ability to move around and work throughout Europe is growing easier and easier, but taking these opportunities can be daunting and sometimes risky.
That is why, in combination with our clients and our partners, we provide specialised, structured programmes to help make that move and give the support that may be needed. Typically our programmes are a year to 18 months long and they offer:
1) First-class language and industry training: We know that moving to a new country and understanding the language, the way the industry functions and the way the client works can be difficult. We can include a tailored training course developed in partnership with our client to prepare our worker for the move.
2) The chance to earn good money: it is important to us that our workers are treated fairly. We promise to pay a rate that is equivalent to the UK industry norm. The majority of our programmes also guarantee to pay you for a set minimum number of hours per week, giving you a predictable, secure income.
3) Continuous in-country support: we know that for some people the move to a new country can be daunting. To help, we provide a multi-lingual Helpdesk that is open 24/7. This is there to help answer questions about work or, if an international worker, about living in the UK. We also have regional Account Managers who will be a friendly face in the area.
4) Accommodation support: housing in the UK is notoriously difficult to get without the right references or UK credit history. For some of our programmes we are able to provide accommodation support that includes sourcing and negotiating tenancies, subsidising deposits and initial costs, and managing the property on an ongoing basis.
5) The chance to be part of the team in a long-term programme: our workers are part of our team and we want to have a long-term relationship. In short we want them to be happy. So, we run a pay scheme which rewards loyalty, and provide welfare support where our Account Managers will be in regular contact with you to answer questions and resolve any problems.
6) Compliance: as a member of one of our programmes we will make sure that our workers have all the right qualifications to do the job that we are putting you forward for. We will never offer work that breaking legislation (such as Drivers’ Hours Rules or the Working Time Directive).
